International Archaeological Expedition to Agrigento, Italy

In 2019, a geodetic support network was created, six excavations were documented, the ruins of the colonnade of the Dioscuri temple, the ruins of the Dioscuri temple and the shrine of the Chthonic deities, and the small temple (Tempietto) were photogrammetrically modelled. 25 fragments of architectural elements from the ruins of the Dioscuri temple were formed.

The excavation of the ruins of the ancient Akragas on the island of Sicily is carried out by an international team of archaeologists from France (Laurence Cavalier, Institut Ausonius. Université Bordeaux Montaigne), USA (William Aylward, University of Wisconsin), and Russia (Askold Ivanchik, (Center of Antique and Eastern Archaeology of the HSE Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies, NSE Higher School of Economics)).

Models of 25 architectural elements located in the vicinity of the ruins of the Temple of Dioskors were created.

To create the models, 6,158 photographs were made. Average modeling detail is 1,800 polygons per sq. cm.
